Texas Children's Hospital has teamed up with a number of vendors to provide donors and friends with many opportunities to help support the hospital while they shop.

• Texas Children's Giveline Fundraising Store: Visit Texas Children's Giveline and Fundraising store and choose the "donate discount" option with every purchase to ensure part of your sales go to Texas Children's. The fundraising store offers 1.5 million different items, including books, CDs, DVDs, video games and software, at competitive prices.

• FTD Flowers:  Next time you send flowers, send Texas Children’s Hospital patients something too. In partnership with Children’s Miracle Network, FTD has created an online floral boutique for Texas Children’s Hospital. The hospital receives 15 percent of each order placed through the FTD-Texas Children’s site.

Kohl’s Cares for Kids

This summer, Kohl's Cares for Kids program features the children's book, "Over the Hedge," based on the feature film from DreamWorks, opening this summer. Kohl’s is also selling the character plush toys from the movie, RJ the raccoon and Verne the turtle, and the “Soulful Summer” CD, featuring R&B hits from the Temptations, the Supremes and Marvin Gaye. All items go on sale in May 2006 for $5 each, and 100 percent of the net profits goes to support Texas Children’s Hospital.

The Blue Bird Circle Resale Shop
Located at 615 W. Alabama in Houston, Texas, The Blue Bird Circle Resale Shop offers a wide assortment of clean, reasonably priced items in both furniture and clothing. Profits from the shop primarily benefit The Blue Bird Circle Clinic for Pediatric Neurology at Texas Children's Hospital.

Grocery store contributions
Texas Children's Patient Family Assistance Fund benefits when shoppers use the Kroger ShareCard or the Randalls Remarkable Card. The patient family assistance fund helps patients’ families with special expenses that may occur during their childs' illness.

• Kroger: To make a donation at Kroger, simply present a Kroger ShareCard to the cashier. Print your own Share Card here (pdf).
   

• Randalls: To make a donation at Randalls, connect your Remarkable Card with the Texas Children's Good Neighbor number (#2637) by printing the Good Neighbor application (pdf) and dropping it off at the service desk of your local Randalls store.
  
  Randalls also supports Texas Children’s through its annual Kindness for Kids fundraising campaign. This year’s campaign raised more than $87,000 for the pediatric cancer gene research program at Texas Children’s Cancer Center. Special thanks to all Randalls employees and customers who participated.

Add a Miracle Balloon
Our Children’s Miracle Network sponsor stores are helping raise money for Texas Children’s through Miracle Balloon campaigns. The paper balloons and other icons (like hearts, footballs, snowmen, etc.) sell for $1 each, and 100 percent of the proceeds from Miracle Balloon purchases go directly to support Charity Care and its various programs at Texas Children’s Hospital.

Next time you make a purchase at one of the participating Children’s Miracle Network sponsor stores, make your shopping count by adding a $1 Miracle Balloon to your total.
