New Swings for Newborns -
GolfTEC Houston will offer 30-minute golf lessons in return for a
minimum $50 contribution to Texas Children's Newborn Center. (Retail
value $85). In addition, there will be several great memorabilia
pieces, which you can bid on. All proceeds from the
weekend will be donated to
Texas Children's
Newborn Center.
Each
lesson includes a complete analysis of your golf swing using
advanced computer software. GolfTEC's unique high-tech approach is
the only golf instructional system that combines digital video,
motion analysis, ball flight projection and at-home review of your
lesson via the internet. GolfTEC's technology allows a PGA
professional instructor to measure your swing and compare it to its
proprietary database of over 150 PGA Tour players.
Are you 3 putting
way too often? GolfTEC's recently released SEVA Putt system reveals
the actual physics of putting and helps clients integrate it in
their putting stokes. With improved confidence, most GolfTEC clients
see a dramatic decrease in their overall scores.
Texas Children’s Newborn Center
With 140 beds, Texas Children's Newborn
Center is one of the most renowned and busiest neonatal intensive
care unit in the United States. Established in 1957, the
world-renowned center provides one of the most comprehensive
neonatology programs in the world. Survival statistics at the
center are among the best in the world, due to a team-centered
approach and the latest diagnostic and treatment techniques.
With the capacity to treat
more than 2,900 patients annually, the center is ranked among the
nation's top five neonatology programs by Child magazine.
With Baylor College of Medicine, the center staffs the nation's
largest training program for neonatologists. A dedicated
neonatologist, nurse practitioners, and respiratory therapists are
on site 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The center has
pharmacists and nutritionists solely dedicated to its patients as
well. Having these resources in place allowed the center to provide
the highly specialized care needed for the world’s first set of
octuplets to survive birth.
