The 17th annual Texas Children's Cancer Center's Making A Mark exhibit opens Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007, on the Auxiliary Bridge of Texas Children's Hospital. Making A Mark, sponsored by The Periwinkle Foundation, is open to children all around the globe. The exhibit consists of art and creative writing by children touched by cancer and blood disorders.

The event will begin at 2:00 pm and feature live music, refreshments, crafts projects and artwork created by this year's special guest artist, Kim Ritter. Making A Mark is part of the Texas Children's Cancer Center Arts in Medicine program.
