Healthy tips from YMCAHealthy tips to build healthy kids
Take advantage of cooler temperatures by encouraging kids to spend time enjoying outdoor activities. Team sports, such as basketball and soccer, and other activities, including running, walking, biking and even doing yard work, are fun ways to get kids moving. Before your child joins a team sport or begins a new exercise program, schedule a complete medical exam with his or her pediatrician and be sure your child has the proper protective equipment.
