Children’s Miracle Network started 22 years ago as a small television fundraiser in Provo, Utah, and has grown to become the world’s leading children’s charity, raising more than $2.2 billion for the 170 pediatric hospitals in its international alliance. Most of the funds have been donated $1 at a time through the sale of paper Miracle Balloons at corporate sponsors like Dairy Queen, Kroger, Valero Energy, Golden Corral, and Wal-Mart, which has contributed more than $300 million to the Children’s Miracle Network national program.
As the only hospital in the greater Houston area to benefit from Children’s Miracle Network, Texas Children’s Hospital devotes the Children’s Miracle Network funds it receives to Charity Care and its various programs. By participating in Children’s Miracle Network events and purchasing Miracle Balloons at local sponsor locations, you help Texas Children’s Hospital serve the health care needs of underserved children and their families.
Since 2005, Texas Children’s Hospital has partnered with Children’s Miracle Network to help bring the finest pediatric health care to children in our community and far beyond.
