Bariatric Surgery Patient Story

Texas Children's Hospital Center for Comprehensive Surgical Management of Adolescent Obesity is led by a team of the country’s top pediatric surgeons. Our team believes there's much more to the treatment of adolescent obesity than surgery. We provide comprehensive care that includes a commitment to each patient for ongoing follow-up care that lasts as long as 10 years and includes nutritional and psychological support.

Dr. Brandt serves as a leader on the national team of physicians and researchers charged with establishing the "gold standard" for adolescent bariatric surgery.
