VISITING THE HOSPITAL
Emergency care

Texas Children’s Hospital provides emergency services for infants and children who need immediate medical care. The Texas Children’s Gordon Emergency Center is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and specialty physician services are provided as needed. After your child has been seen in the emergency center, follow-up care will be provided by your child’s primary care doctor. If you do not have a primary care doctor, emergency center staff will help you find one.

The emergency center is on the first floor of the West Tower. The phone number is 832-824-5454.
