March 25 and 26 marked the 12th anniversary of Texas Children’s International Colloquium and Baylor College of Medicine’s Pediatric Postgraduate Symposium. Each year, the Colloquium is an educational and professional highlight for pediatric specialists from Latin America.

The Colloquium was developed to provide a forum for physicians to meet in an educational setting and discuss the latest developments in pediatric medicine and research. Attendees hear distinguished speakers and form professional friendships that will support future generations of pediatric specialists in the region.

During the Colloquium, approximately 120 physicians from 14 Latin American countries  toured Texas Children's Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine and the Texas Medical Center. Each physician also spent dedicated time with Texas Children’s specialists in a field of his or her choice.
