Cure Kids Cancer Coalition is a nonprofit organization focused on
helping children’s cancer centers find life-saving treatments and
eventually cures for children’s cancers by raising funds and
awareness.

At
present, Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts is a corporate sponsor,
with pending agreements with AFLAC, Wyndham Resorts and Six Flags.
We are aggressively working with other sponsors that will soon be
announced.
Q: What are the guidelines for using the funds?
The
funds raised by Cure Kids Cancer Coalition must be used for purposes
within the hospital’s pediatric cancer program. Beyond that, Cure
Kids Cancer Coalition feels that the local hospital leadership
should determine how best to use the funds.
Q: What is the status of Cure Kids Cancer Coalition?
Cure Kids Cancer Coalition is in year two of a five year strategy
and is now housed in Development. Our primary focus this year will
be to bolster corporate sponsorship, including a grassroots fund
raising initiative, a Direct Mail campaign, a peer-to-peer giving
campaign and bolster Radiothons, and begin a comprehensive branding
campaign. More than 80 children’s hospitals have joined the Cure
Kids Cancer Coalition.

developed and will likely be available by the end of 2007.
