THE SOCIAL WORK DEPARTMENT
Parking in the
Texas Medical Center can be expensive when your child is
hospitalized. The Texas Medical Center parking system is not
affiliated with Texas Children's Hospital. The Social Work
Department recognizes that our abilities to offer parking assistance
are minimal, so we have compiled some helpful information to offer
alternative parking in the Medical Center to assist families to cut
parking costs.
Parking in any of the Texas Medical
Center garages costs $10/day.
www.hou-metro.harris.tx.us/ provides information on rail
schedules to access the Medical Center.
Texas Medical
Center provides reduced parking rates for visitors who park off the
central campus.

Located at the intersection of 1522 S. Braeswood
Boulevard and William C. Harvin Boulevard

Bus shuttle service from these lots run from 4:30 a.m.
to midnight, Monday through Friday, approximately every 15 minutes.

you are planning to park at the Texas Medical Center for five or
more days in a row, purchasing a visitor parking pass may be more
economical and flexible. Discounts are available for central campus
visitor parking rates and in and out privileges allow you to come
and go without paying every time.
