TEXAS CHILDREN'S DERMATOLOGY CLINIC
University of California San Francisco PHACE genetic study

A research study is currently being conducted at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) to investigate the genetic basis of PHACE syndrome. The researchers are hoping that this study will lead to a better understanding of how and why children develop PHACE.

This study will require completion of a consent form and questionnaire, donation of a small blood sample and collection of a swab from the inside of the cheek or sample of saliva. Patients will not be charged for shipping, and will be reimbursed the cost of the blood draw.

Interested families should please contact Dr. Dawn Siegel at (415) 353-9719 or
email siegeld@derm.ucsf.edu for further information.
